They are raised in a calm, structured environment created to support their health, development, and early socialization. Our state-inspected nursery features antimicrobial materials, professional airflow systems, and dehumidification, with cleanliness maintained to Ohio Department of Agriculture standards. Our goal is simple: to give every puppy the healthiest and most nurturing start possible.

For more than 30 years, dogs have been at the heart of our family. We began breeding in 1992 and, over the years, gained experience with several different breeds. Each one taught us something about responsible breeding, structure, temperament, and what it takes to raise a puppy well.
Then we discovered English Bulldogs and Pugs—and something just clicked. We fell in love with the unique structure, personalities, and unmistakable character of both breeds. Today, our focus is on English Bulldogs and Pugs. Rather than trying to raise every breed that happens to be popular, we have chosen to put our experience, time, and attention into these two breeds. That allows us to be intentional about the dogs we choose as parents, the pairings we plan, and the way each puppy is raised.

Where is Heart Strong Pups located?
Heart Strong Pups is located in Belle Center, Ohio. Families are welcome to schedule an appointment to visit us and meet our puppies in person. For families who cannot make the trip to Ohio, we also offer video appointments so you can get to know us and our puppies from home.
Can I visit Heart Strong Pups before choosing a puppy?
Yes. We welcome families who would like to visit us in person by appointment. We believe that getting to know your breeder and seeing where puppies are raised can be an important part of choosing the right puppy. If you cannot visit in person, we are also happy to connect with you by video.

We carefully select the dogs in our breeding program with attention to health, temperament, structure, and overall quality. What health testing do your parent dogs receive?
The health of our breeding dogs is an important part of our program. Our parent dogs are health tested and evaluated based on the needs of their breed, and we carefully consider health and overall soundness when making breeding decisions. We are happy to provide families with information about the health testing and clearances of the parents of their puppy.
How are your puppies raised and socialized?
Our puppies are raised with daily care, handling, and human interaction from their earliest days. They are gently introduced to normal household sounds, routines, people, and age-appropriate experiences in a calm and structured environment. Our goal is to give each puppy positive early experiences that help them develop confidence and make the transition to their new home as smooth as possible.
Can you deliver a puppy to my state?
Yes. We offer nationwide puppy delivery for families who cannot pick up their puppy in person. We work with families throughout the United States to coordinate their puppy’s journey home and keep you informed throughout the process. Families who are able to visit us in Ohio are also welcome to pick up their puppy in person.
What support do you provide after I bring my puppy home?
Our relationship with a family doesn’t end when a puppy leaves our care. We are available to answer questions and provide guidance as your puppy settles into your home. We want our families to feel comfortable reaching out to us as their puppy grows, and we are always happy to hear how our puppies are doing.
What is included when my puppy goes home?
Each puppy goes home with the appropriate health records and information needed to help your family get started. We also provide information about your puppy’s care and transition into your home. The specific items included with each puppy may vary, so we encourage families to ask about the puppy package when reserving their puppy.
